A short distance from the famous Ponte Vecchio, in the marvelous historic center of Florence, stands a prestigious palace of ancient origins, dating back to the 14th century, restored in 1566 by the renowned architect Bernardo Buontalenti at the request of Grand Duke Francesco I de’ Medici.

Among the most valuable features of this property is the ancient façade, initially decorated by Bernardino Poccetti and later enriched by Buontalenti with two characteristic kneeling windows, featuring the typical bat with outstretched wings under the sill, and a portal surmounted by the resident family’s coat of arms.
